Originally, we only planned to build a new barn to hold our indoor hydroponics system, but thanks to your ongoing support, we were able to buy the farm next door in March 2023. This 6.8-acre farm, with almost 30,000 square feet of existing greenhouses, a house, a pond, and a huge barn, has set us on an expanded trajectory. Since gaining full access to the entire property last fall, we have been hard at work renovating greenhouses, starting our first-ever commercial crop of tomatoes and peppers, and starting regenerative soil plots in earnest. It's 6.8 acres, with almost 30,000 square feet of existing greenhouses, a house, a pond, and a huge barn! We just purchased our neighbor's farm about 6-months ago, with a lease-back deal to let them finish out the crops they already had started. They've just finished up the last of them, and the farm is all ours! We are even more excited now than ever about the possibilities.

We could use some help funding the build-out of new greenhouse hydroponic systems to grow tomatoes, cucumbers etc, converting the back of the property to a 4-acre no-till regenerative far, and buying a new tractor. We know that with your support, we can make our dreams a reality.

It’s time for our annual Farm Tour! Hop on the bus for a fun day of eating, drinking, and supporting local regenerative agriculture.

All proceeds from the event will benefit donation farm McKinney Roots, the Seed Project Foundation’s donation farm aimed at eliminating hunger in Collin County with fresh, organic produce. At each stop, guests will enjoy a tour of the operation from the farmers, an adult beverage, and a course from a renowned local farm-to-table chef.
